Basketball

WOW!  Ciara had two basketball games this last week.  She played on Saturday (I wasn't there, I wasn't feeling well).  The girls won and had a lot of fun.  Ciara scored and made some free throws. There were some problems with the other team having duplicate jerseys and Adam said something to our team at the beginning of the second half and so we got technical free throws from it.  The other teams parents and coach were really upset, there was quite a big to do about the entire thing.

Last night we played the make-up game from about a week ago.  It was a hard game but we won 22-19.  We pulled it out in the last few minutes of the game.  We had more fouls on us this game than I think all of the others combined.  Ciara had four points and four fouls.  The refs were not calling things very well.  I told them to call it both ways, and got a warning from the ref; but after that they started calling fouls on the other team.

On Thursday we start the tournament, we are ranked number one in the lower bracket so we don't have to play tonight.  If the team that we played last night wins, we will play them again.
